About Joanna LillyJoanna provides ongoing writing, editing, and proofreading services through her company, The Last Word Editing and Proofreading, creating advertising and promotional materials, public relations, website content, extensive online and classroom training, books, newsletters, and marketing for businesses, notary educators, and non-profit organizations in Florida and around the U.S.A writer / publicist, Joanna has written The Empowered Notary, Reference Book for Florida Notaries, The Wedding Service Handbook, and noteworthy articles such as “The Unlawful Notary.” She has managed a small and highly successful residential/commercial home improvement business. She provides ongoing educational materials, books, marketing and editorial services for, among others, several notary bonding and training firms, an identity authentication firm, a shipping trade magazine, and a floor safety company. Trained as a Customer Care Consultant for America Online (AOL) in Jacksonville, Florida, Joanna has provided media communications, advertising and promotion as well as writing, customer crisis and care consulting, and extensive research on an international level. Joanna has extensive knowledge of notary law, practice, and procedures through many years of experience with the Florida-based American Society of Notaries (ASN), a national non-profit organization, serving as Executive Director, Chief Editor, and Director of Research and Development. Joanna was the primary contributor to and developer of the Society's books, magazines, and website. In addition to successful promotion of membership in the Society, Ms. Lilly has taught professional notary courses in Florida for years, and as Chief Editor was involved in the writing and editing of many state-specific notary handbooks and the Marriage Handbook for Florida, Maine, and South Carolina. She has written or collaborated on the creation of many classroom and online notary training programs for Florida, Texas, and South Carolina, and an Instructor Certification Program. Her knowledge of proper notary procedures makes her a qualified Professional Notary Instructor and a capable Corporate Trainer. Joanna currently contracts on a freelance basis with companies throughout the U.S. She creates successful marketing campaigns through production of advertising copy and websites; writes legal and technical textbooks, online and workbook training programs, magazines, and newsletters; and develops and edits ad copy, PR material, manuscript text, websites, advertising, and all publications. Political campaigns, fundraisers, and charitable events are welcome, and extensive research on any subject is available.
